"Contend with Him in Battle" (Deuteronomy 2:24).

1. Our spiritual conflicts - "contend...battle."

2. Our heavenly comfort - "I have given into thine Sihon the Amorite...and his land." The victory is yours for the taking. God has already promised you the victory - take it. He has already assured you of a guaranteed win, but you must rise up, take your journey, pass over the river and fight!

3. Our personal commitment - "Rise ye up, take your journey...begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle." The chief problem with our spiritual battles and spiritual underachievings falls back on our lack of personal commitment. "YE." "YOUR." The only person holding you back from achieving spiritual victories in your life is you.

We pray this message touches a great variety of people, their hearts, and their needs. We realize all are in some spiritual battle at this present moment. May this service and this sermon speak to you in a powerful way to "fight back!" "Content with him in battle." God has already promised victory. Let us rise up and fight.
