Raising Faith (an online parenting group)

Parenting is full of questions, busy schedules, and seasons when the way forward feels unclear.

Raising Faith is a flexible online series for parents and caregivers who want faith-filled encouragement without adding another meeting to the calendar.

Each week includes a short 10-minute video from Faith, Doubt, and God’s Mysterious Timing with Laurie Polich Short, plus optional online discussion you can join whenever it works for you.

No live meeting. No homework. No pressure.

Just simple encouragement for parents growing faith at home.

🎉 We are honored to share that Hockessin United Methodist Church’s Clothes Closet ministry has received the 2026 Laity Impact Award!

This recognition was presented at the 242nd Annual Session of the Peninsula-Delaware Conference of The United Methodist Church and celebrates ministries that “Love Boldly, Serve Joyfully, and Lead Courageously.”

For years, the Clothes Closet has quietly and faithfully served our community by providing clothing, household items, prayer, encouragement, and support to individuals and families in need. We are deeply grateful for Lisa Bollinger, our dedicated volunteers, generous donors, and community partners who help make this ministry possible.

If you’ve enjoyed community events like the Pumpkin Patch, Community Christmas Celebration, movie nights, Egg Hunt, or SpringFest, this is your chance to meet the people behind them.
