Today, we remember September 11, 2001 - a day marked by unimaginable loss, extraordinary courage, and countless acts of selfless sacrifice.
We remember the lives taken too soon. We remember the first responders who ran toward danger when every instinct said to run away. We remember the families whose lives were forever changed, and the communities that came together in grief, compassion, service, and prayer.
Twenty-five years later, remembrance still matters. It reminds us of the value of every life, the power of courage, and the responsibility we carry to care for one another - especially in moments of fear, uncertainty, and division.
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” ~John 15:13
Today, may we honor those we lost not only by remembering their names and their sacrifice, but by choosing compassion over division, service over indifference, and hope over fear.
We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸
