The sun finally shone today on true American heroes.

Today is Pentecost Sunday and the end of the Easter Season. We have done so much to celebrate our faith in the past 40 days: Here's a recap of all that has happened at the church since April 5: Jacklyn Chojnacki, Peter Fernandez, Robert Groel, Julia Pepe, Teri Goldsmith Policastro, and Erika Signorile received the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist, students made Confirmation, 21 students made First Holy Communion; we hosted a Women's Retreat, we ran two grocery distributions, operated six sandwich Mondays, planned for the 35th Ordination celebration or Fr. Chris and the St. Anthony Feast (taking place June 12 and 13, ran a shoe drive and raised $24,000 of the $37,500 for the Annual Appeal. 💙⛪️🙏

Blessings to all the mothers, mother's-to-be, women who want to be mothers and those who serve as mothers. You are special and beautiful and blessed. A special prayer for all the moms who have gone to heaven and for those who are struggling to be moms. Extra prayers to St. Gerard. 🌷🩷
