All of us – volunteers, staff, and benefactors – seek to be the eyes, ears, hands, feet and most of all the heart of Jesus for mothers and babies, themselves like widows and orphans. Mary’s Missionaries pray habitually for three intentions: the moms and babies living in Good Counsel Homes, those that come into contact with our homes, and the staff, benefactors and volunteers who support Good Couns
el Homes. To be a member of Mary’s Missionary, you simply commit to a form of prayer or sacrifice of your choosing. There are literally hundreds of prayer options; praying the Holy Rosary daily or weekly, an hour of adoration in front of the Blessed Sacrament, or offering up a random act of kindness on a daily basis. A Hail Mary and Our Father will take just two minutes a day and can be said quietly while waiting in line. These are just a few examples of offering prayer and kindness to the cause of Mary’s Missionaries. Take another step by inviting friends and family to join you in prayer for Good Counsel Homes.
