Glenn Morrow, a cornerstone of Hoboken’s music scene for over 30 years, has shaped the local sound as both a musician and the head of Bar/None Records. From the early days at Maxwell’s to his latest project with Glenn Morrow's Cry For Help, "Our Final Album, Vol. 1," Morrow continues to rock Northern New Jersey with his band (Ric Sherman, lead guitar; Mike Rosenberg, bass; Ron Metz, drums), ensuring the heartbeat of indie rock thrives.

🎶 Get ready, Hoboken! This Wednesday, August 12, the soul of summer takes over Church Square Park as George Naha & The Aftertones hit the concert stage from 7–9 PM for a free evening of soulful R&B, blues, and pure feel-good energy.

Fresh off the Newport Jazz Festival with legendary drummer Bernard Purdie (Steely Dan), this is not your average midweek concert. George is a guitarist’s guitarist, the kind of musician who can shift from a sweet, slow-burning blues lick to a groove so tight you can’t help but move. Over the years, he’s shared the stage and studio with music royalty — from powerhouse vocalist Darlene Love to singer-songwriter Steve Forbert and the genre-bending Ed Palermo Big Band. That kind of pedigree doesn’t just happen. It’s earned through years of delivering unforgettable performances and bringing every ounce of heart to the music. The Aftertones include Tim Tindall on bass (Billy Hector, Christine Santelli) and Charlie Calderola on drums (Julio Fernandez, Swingadelic, Gene D. Plumber).

🗓 When: Wednesday, August 12 | 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
