Great Faith Fountain of Life

🙌🏾 YOU HAVE HELP! — BUT WHO IS THIS PROMISE FOR? 🙌🏾

Today’s Sunday School lesson came from John 14:16–17 (KJV), where Jesus promised His disciples another Comforter—the Holy Spirit.

📖 John 14:16
“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever.”

But notice what Jesus says next:

📖 John 14:17
“Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him…”

🔥 The indwelling Comforter Jesus promised is for those who belong to Christ.

So when we say “YOU HAVE HELP!”, this isn't just a motivational slogan. For the believer, IT'S A PROMISE!

When you're weak — YOU HAVE HELP!
When you're afraid — YOU HAVE HELP!
When you're hurting — YOU HAVE HELP!
When you're confused — YOU HAVE HELP!
When you don't know which way to go — YOU HAVE HELP!

The Holy Spirit is our Comforter, Helper, Teacher, Guide, Counselor, and Encourager.

But somebody may ask:

“What if I'm not a believer? How can I receive this Help?”

❤️ COME TO JESUS!

Believe the Gospel—that Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. Turn to Him in repentance and faith, confessing Jesus Christ as Lord and trusting Him for salvation.

📖 Romans 10:9 (KJV)
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

And Jesus also said:

📖 Luke 11:13 (KJV)
“If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?”

🙌🏾 DON'T BE AFRAID TO ASK GOD!

But understand: the Holy Spirit isn't something we earn or receive because we've become good enough. We come to God through faith in Jesus Christ.

And Scripture gives another beautiful promise:

📖 Ephesians 1:13 (KJV)
“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.”

So if you're a believer:

🔥 YOU HAVE HELP!

And if you haven't given your life to Christ, the message isn't “There's no Help available for you.”

The message is:

❤️ COME TO JESUS! BELIEVE! ASK! RECEIVE!

Jesus saves, and God has promised His Spirit to those who belong to Him.

You don't have to walk through life alone.

🙌🏾 YOU HAVE HELP! 🙌🏾

As you move forward, continue to keep God first, trust His direction, and walk boldly in your purpose. Always remember that your church family is praying for you, cheering you on, and here to support you every step of the way.

SUNDAY RECAP 🙌🏽 | IT’S TIME TO CROSS OVER!

Sunday’s message, It’s Time to Cross Over: Get Your Feet Wet First, reminded us that no matter what our Jordan River may be—or how high the waters seem to be raging in our lives—**God has already made provision for us to cross over.

In Joshua 3, the Jordan River was overflowing its banks, but God didn’t tell the priests to wait until the water went down. He told them to step in. It wasn’t until their feet touched the water that God made a way!

Sometimes we are waiting for God to move the water, while God is waiting for us to MOVE OUR FEET!

Whatever your Jordan may be—fear, uncertainty, financial pressure, family struggles, disappointment, transition, or something that simply looks impossible—don’t allow what is raging in front of you to stop you from reaching what God has prepared on the other side.

🌊 Step out on faith.
🌊 Trust God even when you can’t see the way.
🌊 Get your feet wet.**

The water may be raging, but God is still able to bring you across on dry ground!

It’s time to CROSS OVER!**

📖 “And as soon as the priests who carry the ark of the LORD—the Lord of all the earth—set foot in the Jordan, its waters flowing downstream will be cut off…” — Joshua 3:13

Yesterday’s message was “It’s Time to Cross Over: Get Your Feet Wet First” — Joshua 3:1–17. 🙌🏽

The children of Israel were standing at the edge of the Jordan River with the promise on the other side. But before the waters parted, the priests had to step into the water.

Sometimes we’re waiting on God to move, and God is waiting on us to take the step.

You may not see the way yet.
You may not know how it’s going to work out.
The water may still be in front of you.

But GET YOUR FEET WET! 💦

Take the step of faith.
Follow the instruction.
Trust what God said.
Move even when you can’t see the outcome.

There are some things that won’t shift until you step. There are some doors that won’t open until you move. And there are some promises you’ll never possess standing on the bank.

God has already promised the victory. Now it’s time to CROSS OVER! 🙌🏽🔥

This past Sunday celebration was truly one to remember as we honored 15 years of pastoral leadership, service, and dedication from our Overseer Bernice Whitley. From fellowship to worship, we came together with grateful hearts to celebrate the shepherd God has placed over this ministry.

We were blessed by the powerful word shared by Dr. Chief Apostle Abraham who joined us in honoring this incredible milestone.

We honor the years of sacrifice, commitment, and faithful service—and we look forward with expectation to all that God has ahead.
