We are going to continue to help the Mayle’s with their laundry until they move. If you would like to volunteer to help occasionally please message Mary Ellen Olsen Huff or leave a comment below. You pick up the baskets from the carport and return the washed, dried and folded laundry to the carport.

Not only did the amount of people In the home double but what was the laundry room was turned into the nursery for the triplets so the washer and dryer are now outside in a shed that is not attached to the house. You can imagine how difficult it would be to have to keep going outside when you have three babies and a two-year-old in the house and she certainly can’t take them all with her. 😉

The ACTS/YMF Lifegroup has designated this as our Christmas missions project. A special offering will be taken in class this Sunday morning or you can simply give by making your check to Hobe Sound Bible Church and mark it “ACTS/YMF Honduras Expansion Project.”

The church in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, is bursting at the seams. Following much prayer a property with a two-story house has become available for purchase. This would provide space to build a sanctuary, develop classrooms and dorm rooms for a future Bible institute, and house the family of a future national pastor.

Complete the project - $50,000
Fund part of the project - $1,000

Give to this project or others by visiting our Christmas Catalog online at feaministries.org/gift. What will you give this Christmas?

Help us spread the word by sharing this post!

Our ACTS/YMF Lifegroup has a Christmas fundraising project. Check out the following video and ask God what he would have you give toward this exciting project. Also, Benjamin McDowell will give us a further update in class on Sunday morning at 9:30 in T-hall room 201. We will set a goal and a target date and help see the work in Honduras go forward. When you give make sure you mark it "ACTS/YMF" so we can track our progress.

This is "Ministry Expansion Project - Phase One!" by FEAMinistries on Vimeo, the home for high quality videos and the people who love them.

Calling all able-bodied men who are free this evening - to start with. The McDowell’s home is finally out of the water and they need to start tearing out drywall immediately so that all the wet parts of the walls (and several inches above) can be removed as soon as possible to avoid moisture, mold, and mildew from spreading. Benjamin has been working all day to get everything ready for this evening. If you have them please bring a box cutter, hammers, crowbars, chalk lines, large garbage cans and anything else you can think of to assist.

The address is 7364 James St. in Hobe Sound. Because there is still deep flooding leading up to the bottom of their driveway you will have to access the home by coming in on Eagle Avenue, turn on Sandpiper Street and then right on Parkway and finally right onto James Street. Park somewhere along the top of James Street and then you can walk across a couple of his neighbors yards on the right, very nice people, and you’ll be able to enter the yard and home without wading through any water. Benjamin is there now and will be working all evening.

Our Lifegroup will meet this Sunday (June 7) at 9:30 am in room 201 in the CEC. It will be the first time meeting together since the second week of March. We are a diverse group who love to sing, share and study. It is an informal gathering and so if you are looking for a “connection point,” you are welcome to come. We have young families, middle-aged, seasoned saints, singles ...., and we have room for you.

Tomorrow morning in ACTS Lifegroup (9:30 in CEC room 201) we are going to put our study in I Corinthians on “pause” to address what the believers response should be to our current pandemic, Coronavirus.
This morning just after getting a breakfast wrap from HS Deli I paused to do a quick study contrasting faith and fear. I did a KJV search in Logos Bible Software and found they appear in the same verse - Hebrews 11:7. Because I was still in my truck, the only paper I had to write on was the brown paper bag from the deli. The pic may be a primer for you if you can read the font.
“In the face of global (pandemic) disaster, Noah walked in careful, observant and reverential fear.”

SAVE THE DATES!!! We are going to have a Family Camping Weekend at the Land November 1st - 3rd!!!

This weekend is for ANYONE in the YMF/ACTS Lifegroups....so whether you are a single adult, a newlywed, a single parent, a couple with no children, a married couple with children, or a parent of kids in college....if you are a part of either Lifegroup, whether you attend Sunday School or not, this weekend is for you! We have several new families so please help us spread the word..

This is always a very fun weekend - it's a great time to unplug from normal life and enjoy time with your spouse, and/or your kids, and/or your fellow church members. There is no set schedule and it's a wonderful time of relaxation, great fellowship and good food. We do everything from games to some target shooting to solving the worlds problems on the big porch of the main set of cabins to enjoying conversation around a big bonfire. One thing is guaranteed - you will have a great time!

If you are planning on attending any part of the weekend at all, we need to know the following:

1. Do you want to reserve a cabin? If you do, please leave your name in a comment, how many of you there are and if you will be staying both nights. If you did not sign up for the cabin drawing, do you need an RV spot or a tent site?

2. If you do not plan on spending any nights but you want to be there for part of the weekend - which meals will you be eating and how many of you will be eating? Saturday: breakfast, lunch and dinner? Sunday: breakfast and lunch?

We had a very enjoyable time at our ‘Singin’ and Dinner on the Grounds on Sunday afternoon. The food was delicious, including the beef brisket prepared by Jon Tofte, and the singing and fellowship was simply spectacular. We all sang a ca****la and the harmony was sweeter than all the homemade desserts combined. I think most would agree that the highlight of the day was when Glen Alexander joined Stephen Kopp in singing the verses of “Nearer My God to Thee” and all the others joined on the chorus. It was a very special time.

Our ACTS Lifegroup class has been blessed to have Jessica Nelson attend for some time now, but we have to say “goodbye” as she soon leaves for South Dakota. She plans to be married to Sam Blowers on July 6th. Congratulations to you both!! We had an enjoyable celebration this morning during class time, complete with Libby Sutherland’s homemade cinnamon rolls.
