Let’s gather as a parish family and place our schools, children, teachers, and families under the loving protection of Our Blessed Mother. 🌹

✝️ CCD and CIC CLASSES ARE ALMOST HERE! ✝️📚

We are so excited to begin another year of CCD at St. Helena Catholic Church!

CCD Classes Begin: September 9th
Time: 6:00–7:15 PM

CIC Classes Begin: September 13th
Time: 5:20- 6:35 PM

Our 2026–2027 CCD Calendar is here! 🗓️ Please take a moment to look over the calendar and save all of our important class dates, events, and special activities throughout the year.

We are looking forward to another wonderful year of faith, fellowship, learning, and growing closer to Christ! ✝️❤️

A huge thank you to all of our amazing catechists and aides who have volunteered their time to help guide and teach our children. We couldn’t do this without you! 🙏🏼

Interested in serving at Mass…..

Join us for an upcoming workshop for Commentators and Lectors (Readers)! This training is open to anyone interested in learning more about these important ministries and growing in confidence while proclaiming God’s Word.

We especially encourage our Confirmation students and young adults to attend and consider becoming more involved in the life of our parish.

If you feel called to serve, this is a great opportunity to learn, grow, and share your gifts with our church community.

This is more than volunteering, it’s an opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of our children and teens as they grow closer to Christ, build confidence in their faith, and discover the love of our Catholic community. ✝️

No teaching degree is needed, just a willing heart and a desire to serve. Whether you have years of experience or simply feel God placing this on your heart, we would love to welcome you to our team. ✨

Our youth deserve mentors who will encourage, support, and walk alongside them during such an important season of their lives. Together, we can continue building a strong, faith-centered community for our parish families. 💒

Reminder: This week is the final week for CCD sign-ups for the 2026–2027 year. Please make sure to get your children registered, as no late registrations will be accepted.

If you have not yet received a Reconciliation or First Holy Communion certificate, they will be available for pickup during this time.

There will be NO CCD classes this Wednesday as we come together to celebrate a very special moment for our students 🙏

Our Confirmation candidates will be receiving their sacrament at St. Helena Catholic Church at 6:00 PM ❤️

The Lighthouse Basketball Tournament is coming up this weekend! The CCD program will be sponsoring two teams of 4 players each.
• Team 1: Confirmation 1
• Team 2: Confirmation 2

If you have a child in either of these CCD groups who would like to play, please send us their information by direct message before the end of the day today so we can get the teams organized.
