Our CCD & Confirmation program at St. Helena Catholic Church continues to grow, and we are looking for passionate, faith-filled volunteers ready to help inspire and guide the next generation. 💛

This is more than volunteering, it’s an opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of our children and teens as they grow closer to Christ, build confidence in their faith, and discover the love of our Catholic community. ✝️

No teaching degree is needed, just a willing heart and a desire to serve. Whether you have years of experience or simply feel God placing this on your heart, we would love to welcome you to our team. ✨

Our youth deserve mentors who will encourage, support, and walk alongside them during such an important season of their lives. Together, we can continue building a strong, faith-centered community for our parish families. 💒

The Lighthouse Basketball Tournament is coming up this weekend! The CCD program will be sponsoring two teams of 4 players each.

• Team 2: Confirmation 2

If you have a child in either of these CCD groups who would like to play, please send us their information by direct message before the end of the day today so we can get the teams organized.

🙏 All are welcome to join us for a time of community prayer. Let’s come together in faith and lift our prayers as one.

The Community prayer will be lead by Hobbs Columbiettes at the entrances: Lovington Hwy sign, Denver City Hwy at Alabama, Carlsbad Hwy sign, Seminole Hwy sign and Eunice Hwy. sign. We are still needing leaders for two locations. Please choose the one you would like to attend and please invite all of your family and friends to join.

CCD gathered in prayerful remembrance as we honored Nick Calderon, the founder of this team. His passing has left a profound absence in our church community, as he was a guiding presence and a true gift to all who knew him. United in faith, we came together to ensure that his legacy continues to live on.

We deeply mourn the sudden loss of Nick and commend his soul to the loving mercy of God. Wednesdays will feel and look different without his presence among us, yet we trust that he now rests in eternal peace and continues to watch over us from heaven. May the Lord grant him everlasting life and bring comfort to all who grieve his loss.🪽🕊️🙏🏻
