Antioch Lutheran Church

Antioch Lutheran Church Antioch Lutheran Church is a congregation of the North American Lutheran Church. We believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. Amen.

We believe and confess our faith in the Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. And though God exists in trinity, this trinity is in unity for there are not three gods, but one God from eternity to eternity. We believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontious Pilot, was crucified, died, and w

as burried. On the third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father from whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.

St. Luke Service for Healing
Blessed St. Luke, the writer of the Gospel that bears his name, is commemorated by the church on October 18. St. Luke was a traveling partner of Blessed St. Paul the Apostle. It is believed by many that St. Luke was a Greek educated physician.
Therefore, he has come to be identified with the healing arts. Traditionally, during the month of October churches hold services of healing for those who are suffering from any physical malady. Those who desire prayer for themselves or loved ones may come to the altar to receive the laying on of hands and anointing for healing. Prayers are also offered up for all who work in health care.
Antioch Lutheran Church will offer a St. Luke’s service on Sunday evening October 15 at 6 PM. This is an opportunity to receive special prayers for your own healing and to have prayers offered to Jesus on behalf of others. We know that Our Lord Jesus always hears our prayers. This service provides us with an opportunity to seek the Lord’s healing in our lives.
