Lotus Offering for the Vassa Season 🪷
A beautiful Lotus Flower Offering was made during the Vassa season at the historic Kotte Rajamahavihara, Sri Lanka. 🙏🪷

May these fragrant flowers offered with a pure and faithful heart remind us of the Buddha’s teaching on impermanence, purity, and awakening.

🌸 Pāli Gāthā for Flower Offering:
Pūjemi Buddhaṃ kusumena tena,
Puññena me tena ca hotu mokkho;
Pupphaṃ milāyāti yathā idaṃ me,
Kāyo tathā yāti vināsa-bhāvaṃ.

“By these flowers I worship the Buddha.
By this merit, may I attain liberation.
Just as these flowers wither and fade,
so too does this body come to destruction.”
