I don't know about you, but when I read how David in the Psalms says he "lifts up his hands" to God for help, it reminds me of the full trust of a baby in their parent. Just like a baby reaches for their parent for help, safety, and comfort, so we can turn to our Heavenly Father who loves us more than any earthly parent could.

Have you ever looked up at the night sky and realized how BIG the universe is, and how small we are in comparison? God is bigger than outer space, and yet He takes time to notice the little things that happen in our little lives. Isn't our God so amazing???

Have you ever read this verse aloud and gotten tongue-tied? Do you know what the apostle John is trying to say here? "All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made" (John 1:3). It means that everything you see was made by Jesus' creative power!

Challenge: if things are warming up where you live, go outside and start noticing all the lovely creation that John was talking about! Remember, everything you see was made by Christ, the Author of Life. :)
