“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” – Ephesians 6:18

Paul knew what we need to know — that all of the Lord’s followers need prayer. The enemy has the lost. They are no threat. However, God’s army of believers are an enormous threat to Satan’s schemes to steal, kill, and destroy. He does all he can to stop us from doing what the Lord has called us to do.

We don’t always know how our brothers and sisters in Christ are being attacked or how they may be suffering, but we can and should lift them up in prayer. We also must pray for the prodigals and for the lost to receive Christ as their Savior and Lord!

Ask the Lord to burden your heart for who you need to intercede for today! Stay alert to those around you for their need. Check in with those who are going through trials and let them know you care and are praying for them.

We may not be able to do much more than pray, but prayer is one of the greatest gifts we can give to anyone.

Amen!

Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-30,

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

What a beautiful invitation!

Do you feel weary, burdened, or overwhelmed by life? Does your soul long for rest? If so, come join us for service tomorrow at 11 AM as we take a deep look into Jesus’ invitation and ALL that it affords.

God’s Holy Word is alive and active to give restoration. Come and receive rest - refreshing for your soul.

We must pray against this coming to America! Hate and evil abound. However, God is Greater! All who are followers of Christ must unite and stand against this evil. God’s Word, the Bible, is the only TRUTH we have.

LOVE VS HATE

Jesus Christ in John 13:34-35 instructed us, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

CHRIST didn’t leave room for hate. He commanded us to love. HATE is a strong word! People throw it around carelessly today. They hurt even their own family members with it. Once words and actions of hate pour out, it’s not possible to take them back. They have already wounded. It is possible to ask forgiveness and repent. To repent means to turn to love as Christ loves.

If we say we are followers of Christ and love him, we must live with love in our hearts for all as Christ loved us!

There is NO room for hate! Choose your words carefully therefore! Choose life and choose love - the love of Christ!

To the church —
REDEDICATE 250 is today!

Joel 2:12-13 tells us, “Now, therefore,” says the Lord,
“Turn to Me with all your heart,
With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful,
Slow to anger, and of great kindness;
And He relents from doing harm”.

Pray - Lord, we repent as a nation. Have mercy on us and restore us. We ask in Jesus Christ’s Holy Name. Amen.

1 Timothy 2:1-2 says,
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”

Pray for America! Pray that we will return to our foundation of “In God We Trust”. Pray for our leaders. Pray for continued awakening to the truth and good news of Jesus Christ! Amen!

Good morning church, God’s Word for today is:
Galatians 5:13-18 —

“For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another! I say then: walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law”.

I see so many people bite and devour one another in social media today. I see so much of it right here on FB. Let’s not use platforms to fulfill the flesh’s desires but instead, the Spirit’s. May we learn to serve one another through love and learn to forgive others instead of tearing them to shreds lest we be consumed.

Jesus says, let him or her who is without sin, cast the first stone. (Paraphrased) Don’t be a stone thrower for we all fail as humans at times. We all fall short of the glory of God. There is none righteous — no not one. The only righteousness to be found is in Christ Jesus. When we surrender, love Him, and obediently follow Him, we are covered in His righteousness. However, that does not give us a license to sin. We must strive daily to let the Spirit of God lead us in His Love & Truth!

Let’s all meditate on God’s Word today. It is the TRUTH. It’s the whole truth!

Psalm 22:27-28 —
“All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the Lord: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee. For the kingdom is the Lord's: and he is the governor among the nations”.

On this National Day of Prayer, may we remember this great truth and pray for our nation as well as the world.

Pray with me for a great awakening to this truth! Pray for our churches to return to the whole Word of God - the whole Truth and nothing but the truth! Send a great Revival in our souls Lord! May the church arise boldly and unashamedly to preach the Gospel!

We pray in Jesus Christ’s Name, Amen!!!
