Hinsdale United Methodist Church Welcome to HUMC! We strive to be an open, Christian community demonstrating love in action. We offer a faith home for people seeking a spiritual journey.

We grow together in God’s love by participating in worship, learning and missions. Located at the corner of 55th Street and Garfield Street in Hinsdale, we offer a community of worship, friendship, support, and service to families and individuals residing in the western suburbs and those joining us online. Join us for worship each Sunday at 10am. We offer Children's Church during the 10am worship

and Sunday School at 11am. Our facilities are fully accessible to all abilities. Our Sanctuary has forced air ventilation and Covid-19 safety measures are implemented throughout the building. We hope to see you in worship on Sunday!

Gather with us for some family fellowship and food! 🍕 On Sunday, June 7th, join us in the Sunday School Room at 11:00 AM for our Parent/Family Lunch. There will be a pizza lunch for the whole family, fun activities and crafts for the kids, and time for parents to connect. Please RSVP to Pastor Bell by Thursday, June 4th so we can get an accurate head count for food. We can't wait to see you all there!

For the last two and a half years, Hinsdale UMC has proudly partnered with World Relief to walk alongside a resilient refugee family from Ukraine. As a caring community that strives to support our neighbors through life's transitions, we have some exciting news: they have recently moved into their very own apartment in Downers Grove!

To help make their new house a home, we are practicing stewardship by sharing our resources to help them secure the following gently used furniture items:

🍽️ Dining room table and chairs
📺 Table stand for a flat-screen TV
🛋️ Living room sofa and chairs
☕ Coffee table

If you have any of these items available to donate, please contact Lennox Iton at 630-484-7066 or [email protected]. Our team will coordinate all the pickup and delivery logistics for you.

🌱 Springtime Reflections at Hinsdale UMC!

We are officially halfway through the spring season, and what a beautiful, spirit-filled journey it has been! Looking back at our photo reel, our hearts are full of gratitude for the moments of connection, community, and deeper faith we’ve shared.

From the joy of our Easter celebrations to the quiet moments of meaningful worship each Sunday morning, God is truly moving in our midst. We love being a church family where everyone is seen, safe, and welcome as we grow in faith together.
