Pleasant Hill Methodist Church

Pleasant Hill Methodist Church The Little White Church on the Hill We want to welcome you to Pleasant Hill UMC. But we also have an eye to the future of church.

Our church has a long history of service in the Ballard County region dating back to before the Civil War. We hope that from the first minute that you walk in the door you will feel welcomed and loved as the child of God you are.We offer Worship on a weekly basis, early enough that you can still enjoy the sabbath with your family and God. We also gather once a month for food, fellowship, and games

. We offer opportunities for our members to serve God in the surrounding community as He leads. United Methodist churches offer a variety of ministry opportunities, through worship, fellowship, study and outreach. We invite you to enjoy a very laid back and casual service that relies heavily on the teachings of Jesus. Come just as you are to be refreshed and equipped for service to the kingdom. We are a small church but we are working on building our church family and offering more activities for our families to enjoy. In the near future we would love to have a youth group, as well as a womens and men group. We would love your help and support. As a result of our growing church we are in need of individuals with a variety of different talents to volunteer in different areas. If you are interested in any of these volunteer positions or would just like more information contact us!

What a blessed Mother’s Day service we had today! We had 11 Mothers present, some with their families. Each received a special handmade gift. Wonderful stories were shared about our Mothers. Brother Glen brought forth the story of Naomi and Ruth.

Read Thru Gospel of John 2026

Sunday, April 5. Read John Chapter 21

WE MADE IT! We spent 21 days with God!

This last chapter records Jesus again encountering the disciples in a post-resurrection appearance. John also records the 8th miracle of Jesus, the catching the great number of fish.

The key thought here is Jesus restoring Peter for having denied Him three times.

He asked Peter three times, Peter, do you love me? And, we are told here as well as Peter to “feed my sheep” and to follow Jesus.

This has been a great faith builder for me. I hope that it has for you as well.
