United Church of Hinesburg We are a federated church at the center of Hinesburg, VT proclaiming that no matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here.

The United Church of Hinesburg is a federated church at the heart of Hinesburg, Vermont with ties to the American Baptist, United Church of Christ and United Methodist denominations. In 1919 the three denominations merged "in view of the desirability of having one strong Protestant church in Hinesburg which shall serve the entire community" (This wording is taken from the original contract. In 2011, the UCH voted to become an Open and Affirming congregation in the United Church of Christ. At the same time, it was also designated as Welcoming and Affirming in the American Baptist Church and a Reconciling Congregation in the United Methodist Church. Today, UCH focuses on word and sacrament, hunger alleviation and food security. As a united church with people from many different faith traditions, UCH daily lives out the prayer of Jesus, “That they may all be one.”

Stop in tonight anytime between 5:30 to 7 pm and choose from a wide selection of locally made salads and grilled cheese sandwiches and cookies. And it's completely free!
