Hello Everyone,

The Feast of the Assumption is this Friday, August 15 and is a Holy Day of Obligation. Mass times are as follows:

-Thursday, August 14 at 5:30 p.m. on Mount Philo for the Sermon on the Mount
-Friday, August 15 at 8:00 a.m. at OLMC
-Friday, August 15 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Jude

For those attending the Sermon on the Mount, please bring your own picnic dinner. The parish will provide drinks, dessert and paper products. Just check in at the gate and tell them you are attending the mass. You won't be charged. If you have a Green Mount Pass please present that at the gate so the parish isn't charged.

A Lenten Reflection with Adoration and Confession will be held at St. Jude's this Sunday, March 10 beginning at 5:00 p.m. Rev. Luke Austin from St. Mary's in Middlebury will be giving the Reflection and helping with Confession.

Good Afternoon,

Ash Wednesday Services with be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Charlotte at 7:00am and at St. Jude’s, Hinesburgs at 7:00pm.

Stations of the Cross will be held every Friday during Lent at 6:00pm at St. Jude’s.

Sacrament of Reconciliation during Lent will be held after every week day mass- Monday and Fridays at St. Jude’s at 8:30am, Tuesdays and Thursdays at Our Lady of Mount Carmel at 5:15pm and Wednesdays at 8:30am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, as well as after the Stations of the Cross, before and after the 4:30pm mass on Saturdays at St. Jude’s and after the 11:00am mass on Sundays at Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

“Raise your eyes and look about…” the six most important words from Fr. Cray’s homily this morning. He encouraged us to be “apostles of optimism,” spreading a message of Hope out into the world. It made me think of the Mother Teresa quote, “Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier.” The Feast of Epiphany brings with it a message of not only hope, but of love and joy as well! So, as we raise our eyes and look about, let us be “apostles of optimism “ spreading love, hope and joy!
