The Narthex was completed in 1976 and the church sign was erected around that time. The stained glass window was originally over the carriage door on the east side of the church. The stone sign has been crumbling and leaning. The trustees decided to remove it and install a new lighted sign.

Fall Service Schedule Kicks Off September 1

Thank God for an exciting summer and for the blessing of gathering to worship our Lord. As we enter a new season, let us continue growing in faith and fellowship. We look forward to seeing you each Sunday:
Bible Study at 9 a.m. Divine Service at 10:15 a.m.
Join us as we worship, learn, and encourage one another in Christ. We look forward to worshiping with you beginning September 1 st!


SUNDAY School starts on September 13th
Mark your calendars now for when the children return to SUNDAY SCHOOL. We look to the return of students for Christian education.
Sunday School is open to children 3 years and older.
To celebrate the start of Sunday School, there will be an ice cream social following the 10:15 a.m. church service on the 13th. All are welcome to enjoy some ice cream.

In today's Portals of Prayer.

God wants a repentant heart that turns away from sin. He doesn't need us to cover or cleanse our sin, or try to create our own clean heart. He does that for us, through the cleansing blood of Jesus. Forgiveness of sins is given individually to each of us in Baptism and renewed daily throughout of our earthly life by that baptismal grace. God will "create in me a clean hear" and "renew a right spirit within me" (Psalm 51:10)

Thank you, Jesus, for cleansing my sin and creating a new and clean heart in me. Amen
