Day 2 of Youth Mission Days is in the books!

We spent the morning at Feed My Starving Children packing meals that will be sent to Guatemala.

Then in the afternoon we spent time writing notes to send to children who attended VBS this summer to invite them to Sunday school, and delivering Blessing Bags to our new neighbors in the Royal Estates subdivision.

It’s amazing to see the youth living out their faith, and to do it all making an impact in our own community!

Good morning Hinckley community. Please be sure to take a few moments to read the latest publication of the Hinckley Update.

For the month of August we have informative articles along with several wonderful events taking place in the community.

We have articles from the Lions Club, HBR School District #429 and the Historical Society. Hinckley has wonderful events taking place throughout August such as the Free Ice Cream Social, The Grand Opening of the new Library, along with an important announcement from the Village of Hinckley.

Wishing everyone a great transition from summer to many blessings throughout the fall season.

On Day 1 of our Youth Mission Days we served at Rooted for Good delivering groceries to senior citizens and sorting food to be distributed at their mobile food pantries.

Then we headed over to the Northern Illinois Food Bank where we bagged up 3,060 pounds of potatoes to be distributed through partner food pantries.

Proud of this crew and the way they served today. Excited for more tomorrow!

Good morning everyone. We invite you to join us this Sunday, June 14 at 8:00 AM for a FREE COMMUNITY BREAKFAST at Hinckley First United Methodist Church. Be sure to invite your family, friends and neighbors or anyone who would enjoy a warm meal as we enjoy delicious food along with fellowship and conversation with others in the community.

Free will donations will be accepted and ALL proceeds will go directly to the Hinckley Area Food Pantry. Thank you.
