Saw this on a friend's page & had to share it here ❤️

Ever been invited to a wedding and you have to RSVP. Before you know it the wedding date is here and you forgot. You figure I’ll just go and surely, they’ll let me in. After all, I was invited. So, you clean yourself up and put on your best clothes. You look in the mirror and think, I look so good, there’s no way I’m not getting in. The wedding is at a beautiful gated private estate. You can’t wait to see what’s on the inside. This is going to be a special night and it cost you nothing. Then, there’s a problem. At the gate, they ask your name and tell you that you’re not on the list. You tell them, but I was invited. No matter how much you argue, they send you away, telling you that it was your responsibility to accept the invitation. That’s Heaven. God wants you there. He sent you the invitation. All you have to do is accept it. Not after you clean yourself up. Not when you “look” presentable, the way you think you’re expected to look. No, you have to accept before it’s too late. Otherwise, you’re not getting in. Don’t wait until it’s too late to respond.

Good morning, beautiful people! Here's a message from Pastor Corey Miller. Have a wonderful day and God bless!!

"Like a club, a sword, and a sharp arrow
Is a person who gives false testimony against his neighbor." (Proverbs 25:18)

Today's proverb speaks to us about violence. Clubs, swords and arrows are weapons of war, and Solomon compares them to one who lies against his neighbor. Essentially, Solomon tells us that lies are acts of violence against others. Words are dangerous and can destroy lives; therefore, we need to be honest with our speech. Amen and God bless.

Here's a message from Pastor Corey Miller. Have a great day and God bless!!

"Let your foot rarely be in your neighbor's house,
Or he will become weary of you and hate you." (Proverbs 25:17)

Our proverb today speaks to us about something we rarely think is from the Bible. Basically, this proverb is similar to our word of wisdom: Don't overstay your welcome. Our proverb today warns us about leaning too much upon the graces of others. We need to make sure that we're not annoying our neighbors. Amen and God bless.

Good morning, beautiful people! Words of wisdom from Pastor Corey Miller. Have a wonderful day and God bless!!

"Like an earring of gold and a jewelry piece of fine gold,
Is a wise person who offers rebukes to a listening ear." (Proverbs 25: 12)

Rebuke is something we don't normally see as a positive, but Solomon reminds us that we should listen to it. And the proverb implies that we should obey. Rebukes serve to correct our wrong behavior and make us into better people. Therefore, we should listen with open ears and receive the correction we need with grace. Amen and God bless.

Good morning, beautiful people! Here's a message from Pastor Corey Miller. Have a wonderful day and God bless!!

"Like apples of gold in settings of silver,
Is a word spoken at the proper time. (Proverbs 25:11)

Today, Solomon speaks to us about the power of words, especially those words that help in times of need. A word spoken at the proper time can heal divisions, mend broken hearts and uplift the soul. Folks, let us never forget the power of words and let the words we say be of benefit to others, not harmful. Amen and God bless.

Good morning, beautiful people! Here's a message from Pastor Corey Miller. Have a great day and God bless!!

"Take away the impurities from the silver,
And there comes out a vessel for the smith;
Take away the wicked before the king,
And his throne will be established in righteousness." (Proverbs 25:4-5)

Today our proverb compares the process of smelting with that of ruling a nation. Impurities are something we all must deal with in our lives. How often have our best motives been tinged with impure thoughts or desires for self-gain? Just as the impurities of silver must be smelted away, so also must the impurities of our souls if we are to be righteous. Amen and God bless.

Good morning, beautiful people! Here's a message from Pastor Corey Miller. Have a wonderful day and God bless!!!

"Do not be a witness against your neighbor for no reason,
And do not deceive with your lips.
Do not say, "I shall do the same to him as he has done to me;
I will repay the person according to his work." (Proverbs 24:28-29)

In today's selection, Solomon gives us the principle of not repaying evil with evil. What Solomon is calling us to do is the same as what our Lord and Savior taught us to do: to return evil with good. To not sink to the same level as those who do evil to us, but to rise above it and be the bigger person. Amen and God bless.

Good morning, beautiful people! Here's a word from Pastor Corey Miller. Have a wonderful day and God bless!!

"Do not rejoice when your enemy falls,
And do not let your heart rejoice when he stumbles,
Otherwise, the Lord will see and be displeased,
And turn His anger away from him." (Proverbs 24:17-18)

Our proverb today is a hard one. It's natural to feel joy when our enemy falters, and harm comes His way. But the Lord God is against such actions. Worse still is the unspoken. If God's anger is away from our enemy, where is it? That's right, it's now on us. So, don't seek your enemy's harm; follow the way of Jesus and forgive. Amen and God bless.
