We are unaware of what the weather will do tomorrow to travel in the morning. Out of an abundance of caution for our HUMC family, we are cancelling in-person worship tomorrow. We will be meeting at 10am on Zoom for devotions and prayer. Please check your email or text messages for the link or DM the church and we will send it to you. Also, please let us know if you are aware of needs during this weather event.

What a joy to host and welcome our community for free Journey to Bethlehem pony rides, hot chocolate, crafts, and a warm place to gather at the Hilton Holiday on Main Celebration last night. Thank you to our friends at St. Paul's Lutheran Church and School for joining us to guide and participate in the live nativity.

The amazing children of JAM (Jesus and Me) made 6 fleece blankets to donate to Open Door Mission to help others keep warm. A big Thank You to Marj E. and Liz G. for donating the fleece and to Suzanne P. for cutting and getting them ready for us to tie!

Power for the Day is tomorrow!!

Our first "Power for the Day" youth prayer breakfast was an absolute success. This happens the 1st and 3rd Thursdays at 6:30 to 7:08am before school. 20 kids and room for more. Thank you to Patti Gavigan Sullivan and Kevin Sullivan for cooking delicious pancakes and sausage, Melanie Meyers Klock for bringing our focus devotion and Adam Klock and Meg Cuddy Webb for being a steady and loving presence. So excited to witness what God is doing!

Yesterday in worship we experienced the scripture of Mary and Martha's conversation with Jesus with prayer stations in worship. Our Mary and Martha Mission was assembling 20 Birthday Kits for the Hilton Parma Food Shelf. Living out our vision of Following Cheist, Connecting Generations, and Transforming Communities.

The 9th Annual Blessing of the Bikes
We celebrated worship and blessed each rider and bike individually. They went for a ride and then returned to join us for a delicious pig roast lunch made by Walker Fire Department. What a joy to partner with Friday Night AA and Walker Fire Deaprtment to share the love of Jesus with our community.
