Pray and Play

Pray and Play A New Worshiping Community that gathers to Pray, Play, and Connect. We are a group of families that wanted something different. We meet twice a month.

We craved connection, faith formation, and something that felt naturally family-inclusive and family focused. Our gathering days and times are fluid because life with young children is fluid. Stay tuned for posts to learn of our upcoming gatherings. What do we do? Here is our basics: 5:30 start (don't worry, its a soft start, many of us are coming from work and picking up kids from day care), we

will have dinner together (don't worry you don't have to cook), we will then have music, a faith formation family friendly study and activity. In short, we eat, Pray and play! Reach out for more information. Our Vision: To gather to worship in a way that allows space to play, authentically connect, and to worship God freely. Mission: To live out what it means to be a family of God. As believers, we are a part of God's family, called to care for one another, serve, feed, encourage, and build up. We will worship, wiggle, pray, and play together. We will work to build disciples of Jesus Christ to share love and light in the world as a family, being intentionally inclusive to anyone interested in being a part of this community

This summer Pray and Play is doing something wonderfully simple- every family commits to reading scripture together in whatever way works best for you. We will each take a different path, but we will travel together. When we gather in July and August. We will share what God has been doing in our lives through our reading.
