We had an amazing Saint Luke’s Anglican women’s spring luncheon this past Sunday! It was so joyous! We had over 120 women registered and it was a “pink paradise” in the words of Connie Rathman. 💕 Our topic was authentic Christian friendship, highlighting the Greek word “Tas Philas” meaning “girlfriends” from Luke 15, the parable of the lost coin. We had a fabulous speaker panel with Peg Yelverton, Amy Kaylor and Leslie Bennett who brought this subject to life. We also had beautiful worship from Dallas Reese, Mary Lou Haraburd and Meredith Kronz. Gretchen Goss, Margaret Richardson, Leigh Ann Hoppe and others brought beautiful flowers, gorgeous pink balloons, streamers, pennants, and more. We had seven teams of women decorate their own tables, which was absolutely incredible— the cherry on top! 🙌💕 Each table was individually designed and so beautiful! 🌸💐🌷It was such a joy filled day. We had a delicious lunch from the hog heaven barbecue team as well as desserts from Carolyn Mitchell, Cathy McDevitt and Barbara Wolfe. We also had display tables from Hilton Head medi spa, Lifewise Academy, Revive our Hearts ministries and more. It couldn’t have been more perfect. The room was entirely pink. Tas Philas!! Girlfriends! Hooray!! All praise to Jesus!
