Vacation Bible School 2026 is here at Five Forks Baptist Church!!! You do NOT want to miss this year's exciting "Wonder Junction VBS." Beginning on Sunday night, June 7 at 6pm and continuing through Wednesday night, June 10, our children will learn about the most pivotal figure in all of history, Jesus Christ. But he was more than an important historical figure. He is the Creator God Who came to redeem sinful man. We had a wonderful time Saturday at the Amazing Grace for a Women’s Heart conference!There was a fashion show like no other, a bounty of goodies, special time of worship, and great lesson on God’s grace. Special thanks to Mrs. Cathy D’Angelo and her sweet sisters for their hard work to make this happen!

Jesus teaches in Matthew 7:13-14 that the way to life is strait, meaning narrow. He teaches that the way to destruction is wide, meaning broad. Truth, by its very nature is exclusive. Therefore, error is infinite. There are an infinite number of ways to be wrong, but those infinite ways all lead to the same result of destruction.

Our purpose on earth as a church and the purpose of Christians on earth is to speak truth to every man. Sometimes that means to make others aware that they are wrong, just as Jesus did. If destruction is the end result of error, then the most loving thing you can do is warn people and introduce them to the way, the truth, and the life, Jesus Christ. This doesn’t have to be done with a mean and angry spirit. It can simply be done with a meek and compassionate spirit.

Galatians 5:13
“For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.”

With great freedom in Christ comes great responsibility for Christ. The blessings that God gives us, including our freedom from the Law, comes with the responsibility to carry out God’s heart behind the Law: to love God and be holy, and to love others and be helpful.
