Hillsborough Reformed Church at Millstone We are a small historic church located in Millstone New Jersey. We have been serving Christ here since 1766. Our church is, in many ways an extended family.

Extra Veggie Table – Starting This Sunday!

Do you have extra vegetables from your garden or CSA/farm share? Would you enjoy taking home some fresh produce?

Beginning this Sunday, we'll have an "Extra Veggie Table" on the patio near the refreshments.

Here's how it works:

• If you have extra vegetables, bring them and place them on the table after worship.
• If you'd like some vegetables, feel free to take what you can use.
• No cost, no sign-up—just siblings-in-Christ sharing with one another.

Jamie and I will be bringing some of our extra lettuce to get things started. Whether you're bringing vegetables, taking vegetables, or both, we hope you'll take part as you can!

Join us for worship this Sunday, June 21st. We will gather at both 8:15am and 10am. The services will both include a celebration of communion. At our 10am service we will welcome a new member and recognize our continuing education scholarship recipients.

Pastor Jeff will preach on the topic of worship - looking to scripture to help us see a vision of what worship will be like in God's eternal kingdom and listening for God's guidance on how to move towards that hopeful future.

HRC’s Snow Mountain Challenge VBS is coming July 20–24, and we can’t wait!

Each morning from 9:00–11:30 am, children ages 3–12 will explore exciting Bible lessons, music, games, crafts, snacks, and more as we learn to trust God through every challenge life brings.

Whether your child loves singing, making friends, running around outside, or creating cool crafts — there’s something for everyone!

Join us this Sunday, June 7th to worship our God of grace and salvation. Please note that we will have one worship service only at 10:00am this Sunday. There will be no 8:15am service, as we encourage everyone to stay after worship for our Congregational Meeting.

Following the service, the Mission Team will present the proposed Mission and Benevolence Budget, and the Deacons will provide a mid-year update on the church’s finances.

Our Scripture for the morning will be Acts 2:41–47, a beautiful picture of the life of the early church. In response to the good news of Jesus Christ, the first believers devoted themselves to worship, prayer, fellowship, generosity, and the breaking of bread. Their life together was marked by joy, gratitude, and a deep sense of God’s provision and presence. Pastor Jeff’s message will explore how the same Spirit that shaped the early church continues to call and shape Christ’s people today.

Come and worship with us as we seek to grow into a community marked by faith, joy, generosity, mission, and devotion to God.

Join us this Sunday, May 31st for worship as we gather around the risen Christ and hear his Great Commission in Matthew 28. We will have services at both 8:15am and 10:00am. Adult Sunday School meets at 9:00am, and fellowship follows the 10:00am service in Memorial Hall.

In this final passage of Matthew’s Gospel, Jesus sends his disciples out into the world with the good news of God’s kingdom. We are told that the disciples worshipped the risen Jesus, but they also experienced doubt. Pastor Jeff’s message will reflect on God’s grace in the face of our doubts.

Come and worship the Triune God who calls us, equips us, and sends us out in hope, love, and service.

Join us this Sunday, May 24th for worship as we celebrate Pentecost and gather around the Lord’s Table for Communion. We will have services at both 8:15am and 10:00am.

Pentecost reminds us of the gift of the Holy Spirit, poured out upon the church to bless us with power, hope, and renewal. Pastor Jeff will preach from Number 11:24-30. We will also enjoy special music in worship this week while Dr. Akiko Hosaki is away.

Come, Holy Spirit! Let us gather to worship and praise the God who fills us with grace and peace and sends us to be God's servants out into God's world.
