All are welcome and encouraged to join us on Thursday evenings for a free meal followed by a half hour time of worship and praise, incorporating contemporary Christian music videos, a very short message, scripture, and prayer. You will leave refueled and refreshed, after eating delicious food and filling your heart and mind with words and music centered on God.
The meal is served in the church fellowship room at 5:30 (grilled pork patties, hamburgers, and hot dogs will be served this Thurs., June 4th,) and the half hour service will begin at 6:00 ending promptly by 6:30. Please, come!

“No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” (John 15:13, NRSV)

In the U.S., we observe Memorial Day, which is a day of solemn remembrance of those who laid down their lives in service to this nation. As followers of Jesus, we honor their sacrifice, acknowledging the deep grief that endures in the hearts of families and friends, and give thanks for the costly gift of their service.

Today we invite you to pause in prayer: for comfort and hope for the bereaved, for healing for those still bearing wounds of war, and for God’s justice and peace to prevail throughout the world. 🙏

On Pentecost, we celebrate the powerful moment the Holy Spirit filled the believers and the Church was born. What began as a small gathering became a global movement of faith, hope, and truth. Today, we remember: the same Spirit is still moving, still empowering, and still calling us to share scriptural holiness across the globe. 🔥

Today, we honor mothers with tenderness and thanksgiving.

We give thanks for mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, foster and adoptive mothers, spiritual mothers, and every woman who has a mother's heart.

We also hold close those for whom this day carries weight. Those grieving a mother who has gone home to the Lord. Those longing for a child. Those walking through estrangement, infertility, or quiet loss. Those mothering through hardship no one else sees.

As the Great Lakes community, we surround you with love, prayer, and hope.

May our God of all comfort meet you right where you are today.

🎉 Today we celebrate 4 years of the Global Methodist Church! 🎉

In just four years, we have seen God move in powerful ways through new churches planted, annual conferences formed across the world, communities reached for Christ, and lives transformed through faithful witness.

We give thanks for the laity and clergy who have prayed, served, sacrificed, led, and loved so faithfully on this journey.
