The youth of Our Lady of Mercy have been very active since our beginning in the Fall of 2009. We are responsible for staffing the majority of venues at our annual parish festival and volunteer at other parish events. We host the annual Easter Egg Hunt for t

he younger children. In the spring of 2011 we began assisting with parish grounds maintenance with the formation of OLMGK (Our Lady of Mercy Grounds Keepers). In our first two years, we have sent 25 youth each year to the Diocesan Catholic Youth Conference (DCYC). We anticipate more growth as many of our current members are being called to be youth leaders in our Parish.

Due to the road conditions and low temperatures expected again, the church office will be closed on Wednesday, January 28th. Mass, Adoration, and OCIA class are also canceled. We hope everyone stays safe and warm.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Due to the severe winter weather affecting our state this weekend, traveling to Mass may place many at serious risk. In light of these circumstances, I am granting a dispensation from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass for January 25–26, 2026, for all who would be endangered by road or weather conditions. Saturday Confession, Religious Education, and Baptism Class are cancelled.

I strongly encourage the faithful to still try to keep the Lord’s Day holy by doing some of the following.
• Pray with the Sunday Scripture readings at home, available online on our website or visiting usccb.org.

• Watch or listen to a livestreamed Mass if possible.
