*UPDATE ON PASTOR*
He is out of surgery and headed to recovery. The surgeon said the surgery went very well. They did not need to do any more than the 2 bypasses they already knew about and his heart is healthy so nothing had been damaged.
Praise the Lord!
He will be in ICU for probably 2 days before being moved to progressive care.
Thank you all for your prayers. Keep praying for his recovery 🙏

*PRAYER ALERT*
Pastor Ga***rd went to the ER on Monday after he had been experiencing discomfort in his stomach. After the hospital ran tests they found the enzymes around his heart were elevated. Upon further testing they discovered he has a couple of blockages in arteries around his heart and needs to have bypass surgery. That surgery will take place tomorrow morning (Thu) at 7 am.
They do not know how many bypasses it will be until they get in there but they believe at least 2.

Please pray for a successful surgery.
Pray for the surgeon and assistants in the OR that God would guide their hands and minds as they perform the surgery.
Pray for Pastors recovery. He will not be able to do any physical work for at least 6 weeks. If you know Pastor you know that will be the hardest part.
Pray for God's name to be glorified in all of this.
Pastor has already been sharing the gospel with everyone he's come in contact with at the hospital!
Hes very thankful for the nurse who noticed the high numbers after they initially thought he just had a pulled muscle and were going to send him home. This nurse insisted he stay and be admitted.
He is thankful for everyone's prayers.
We will provide updates as we know throughout the day tomorrow.
