REVIVE - Junior and Senior High Youth Ministries
We are committed to lead this next generation into discipleship with Jesus! Our youth format allows your youth to hang out together, play games, worship, study the Word together and more. High School is on Wednesdays at 7:00pm. Middle School is on Wednesdays at 7:00pm. Come at 6:30 and hang out until worship! Vision:
That the youth enter into a ge
nuine, growing relationship with Jesus Christ, and that their relationship with Christ, will draw others to know Him. (Revelation 3:20, Ephesians 4:20, Matthew 5:16). Youth Group Wednesday Nights – worship (sing corporately, read/teach scripture, encourage through prayer and small groups). (John 4:22-24, 1 Timothy 4:13, 1 Thessalonians 5:11, 17). Events – to gather with other young followers of Jesus and have fun while growing closer to Christ. (Hebrews 10:24-25). Building Personal Relationships – leaders reach out to the youth throughout the week (i.e. taking them out, communicating via social media, pray for them, speak truth into their lives and love on them). (Ephesians 4:15, Galatians 6:2, John 13:34-35). Purpose of leaders: Youth leaders are to shepherd, watch over, protect, build up, encourage, love, pray for, and be an example of Christ to the youth, etc. Youth leaders are to plant and water seeds of truth into the youth’s lives. But ultimately we are to trust in the Holy Spirit to grow those seeds. (1 Corinthians 3:6). Middle School Purpose: Every middle school student will be known, loved, cared for, and disciplined. We want them to know and understand that they can be leaders in their schools and community right now, regardless of their age. We encourage them to know and walk out in their spiritual gifts, to build up the kingdom of God. (1 Timothy 4:12, 1 Corinthians 12). High School Purpose: That every high school student will feel loved and accepted. We want them to know that their true identity is in Jesus Christ; that they are who God says they are. We want them to be foundationally established in their faith in Christ so that they are prepared to stand firm in their faith, in the midst of this dark world. They will be committed disciples of Jesus Christ and be lights in their communities, families, relationships and throughout the world. All for God’s glory! (1 John 4:11, Genesis 1:27, 1 Samuel 16:7, 1 John 5:4-5, Matthew 5:14, Matthew 28:19-20).
