Another good time with the Zion MS crew. Today we toured the sanctuary to learn about the stained glass windows, watched a Chosen episode, and put a new scripture on the front yard sign (thanks much to the Hanschu sons for tending to the sign over the years - complete with a notebook of each scripture used!). Props, again, to Luke for organizing ... and for securing some incredible food treats. More cool activities to come. Old and new friends always welcome.

It's a great day to be a Zion Lutheran Middle School student. Thanks, Luke, for arranging a very fascinating tour of FirmaPak, formerly Container Services. And yep, we saw the "bears" being made ... and a lot more. There must have been thousands of plastic containers (and we didn't even go into the warehouse). Then we watched an episode of The Chosen, had lunch, and did community service. Mandatory hair nets notwithstanding, we look pretty good.

Please join us for Good Friday service this evening at 7:00 pm for a powerful time including hearing scripture about our Lord's Passion interspersed with singing verses of "O Sacred Head Now Wounded." We also will be confronted with darkness ... but then encounter, anew, the hope we have in Christ. Come and experience this in person tonight.

We also will gather on Sunday morning at 10:30 am to celebrate the "Resurrection of our Lord." It will be a glorious Easter service of singing, hearing God's Word, and celebrating the Lord's Supper.
