Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:
[48] He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
[49] But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

It’s not about what you wear, what job you have, what title you hold, or what you look like.

It is about knowing who you are! We are daughters of Christ! We are chosen. We are loved. We are worthy because of Him.

Our identity isn’t found in our appearance, our accomplishments, our motherhood, our careers, or the opinions of others. Our identity is found in Christ. And that is more than enough.

The response is the same across the board.. no one got many pictures because we were all having such a great time. We sure do love our church ladies! We had a wonderful, much needed, time of fellowship, and growing closer to the each other and the Lord. 💜

“Sometimes answers aren’t enough. And yet answers are what we seem to insist upon. So much of our response to things consists of questions such as “Why?” “How?” “What?” “When?” or “Where?” We want answers — even when answers are not forthcoming. This was certainly how Job felt during his ordeal.

God had something different in mind. You see, God knows that so often, despite how we may feel, it is not answers that we need. What we need is a fresh glimpse of the awesome power, majesty, and goodness of God. Job wanted answers. But God gave him more questions. They were not questions designed to create more doubt in Job’s mind, but rather, questions which shifted Job’s focus back to God himself and the greatness of His character. This was what Job needed. It is what we all need during times of adversity.”

Tomorrow’s Sunday school lesson is so good! It never gets old learning about the greatness of God! FOR THE LORD IS GREAT, AND GREATLY TO BE PRAISED: HE IS TO BE FEARED ABOVE ALL GODS. (Psalm 96:4)
