Have you seen that we have updated our welcome board in the church narthex? We have lots of people who pass through the lobby not just on Sundays, but during Blood Drives, Scouts, 4-H or even a Quilting Club, so if you are a RELC ministry leader please try to stop by after service on Sunday for a few minutes to chat with Renee in the narthex about how your ministry can be be represented.

Are you wondering what amazing ministries we have here at RELC? We have BOLD Food Pantry, Prayer Shawl Team, Adult Bible Studies, Giving Garden, Operation Christmas Child, LSS outreach volunteers, First English Meal partners, Neighbors of Mercy, Media, Altar Guild, Book Club, Evangelism, Hospitality, Health Team, Lunch Ladies, Music, Theology on Tap, Worship Planning, Worship Assistance, Youth Group and Sunday School Classes. Calling all Lectors and Assisting Ministers or anyone who is interested in trying it out. We will have a training/ brush up Sunday morning September 6th from 9-9:30am.

35 prayer shawls and 181 prayer patches were blessed on Sunday, August 23rd. Thank you to everyone who makes them -BUT, we still need 200 more patches to put in the Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes for the packing party in early November.

B.O.L.D Food Pantry is open tonight at 5:30pm. Please line up in the RELC church parking lot and bring an ID.

If you are not in need, but shopping at our local Kroger on Hilliard Rome Road please look out for the red reusable bags and $1 of your purchase goes to help BOLD and saves using plastic bags.

Evangelism Team is doing another Prayer Walk in the neighborhood around the church. Please plan to meet Saturday, September 12th at 11am in the parking lot. We will walk around the neighborhood to collect prayer concerns from our neighbors. We will have a Prayer Service in October where we will pray for everyone in the chapel.

If any of our Facebook neighbors have a prayer request, feel free to post here or directly message the church and we will pray for you too!

The Community Refugee & Immigration Services' 13th Annual 5K + Community-Wide Event is on Saturday October 3, 2026 to Sunday October 4, 2026. It includes the following events: 5K Run/Walk - IN-PERSON, 1 Mile Walk - Untimed - IN-PERSON, Kids Fun Run - IN-PERSON, and 5K Run/Walk - VIRTUAL.
