In case you missed the live‑stream event this past Wednesday, we are blessed to share that Pastor Jonathan Poppe has been assigned from seminary to serve as pastor here at Trinity Lutheran Church, Rantoul!

We give thanks to God for His faithful guidance throughout this journey. While we have not yet had the opportunity to meet Pastor Poppe and his family personally, we trust that the Lord has been at work in this calling and look forward with prayerful hearts to getting to know them as they begin this new chapter of ministry among us.

Please keep Pastor Poppe and his family in your prayers as they prepare for this transition, and pray also for our congregation as we step forward together in faith, anticipation, and trust in all that God has planned for our church.

We’ll gather at 6:00pm in the church to watch the service together, think “draft night” style, but for our next shepherd! 😊
