Today we rejoiced as Levi David was welcomed into God’s family through the waters of Holy Baptism! ✝️💧

What a beautiful blessing to witness God’s promises given to Levi. We pray that the Lord would keep him in the faith and surround him with His love and grace all the days of his life.

We welcome Julie Harris to the Trinity Family. She is our new Administrative Assistant for the school and church!
Her Bio: My name is Julie Harris, and I’ve been happily married to my husband, Mike, for 28 years. I’m a mom to 2 daughters and 2 step-sons: Justin, Chad, Alisha, and Tayler. I am also a grandma to seven grandchildren, ranging in age from 2 to 14.
I had a double lung transplant in April of 2023 and am thankful to God, my donor and their family for this second chance at life - giving me more time to spend with my family and friends.
When I have free time, I enjoy crafting, crocheting, watching my grandkids play sports, and relaxing with my three cats. I’m excited for this new opportunity and look forward to meeting new people and serving the community in my new role.

This past weekend was a joyful and memorable milestone in the life of our congregation as we celebrated the ordination and installation of Pastor Poppe. We were blessed to welcome Pastor Poppe, along with his beautiful wife and their two daughters, into the Trinity Lutheran Church–Rantoul family.

The evening was made even more special as Pastor Poppe's father, who is also a pastor, delivered the sermon during the ordination service. It was a meaningful reminder of God's faithfulness across generations of ministry and a blessing for all who were able to be part of the celebration.

On Sunday morning, we gathered once again for Pastor Poppe's first Divine Service with our congregation. We thank God for His faithfulness in providing a shepherd to serve our church and look forward to the years of ministry, fellowship, and growth that lie ahead. Please continue to keep Pastor Poppe and his family in your prayers as they begin this new chapter.

Tomorrow will be Pastor Krueger's final Sunday serving as our interim pastor here at Trinity.

We are so thankful for the time he has spent with our congregation, faithfully sharing God's Word, leading us in worship, and providing steady guidance during this time of transition. His willingness to step out of retirement to serve our church has truly been a blessing, and we are incredibly grateful.

As Pastor Krueger returns to retirement, we pray that God grants him many years of health, joy, and well-deserved rest. May the Lord continue to bless him and his family in this next chapter.

If you would like to share your appreciation or wish him well, a card box will be available in the narthex tomorrow.
