What a wonderful evening of food, fellowship, and encouragement on Sunday evening, August 2nd! We were honored to welcome the Highland Community College Football Team—130 players and coaches—for dinner at our church.

Our volunteers served a baked potato bar with all the toppings, along with a delicious assortment of homemade desserts. In addition to a great meal, the students had the opportunity to pick up a free Bible and other giveaways. We were also blessed to hear Jim Ellis share his personal testimony.

A special thank you to the more than 20 church members who gave their time to prepare, serve, and visit with these young men and coaches. Your hospitality and willingness to build relationships made the evening truly special.

Please join us in praying for the Highland football team as they begin a new season—that they would stay safe, grow as teammates and leaders, and know God's love in their lives.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our community and share the love of Christ, one meal at a time! ❤️🏈🙏
