S U N D A Y R E C A P | Even with the summer heat, it was so good to gather together and worship the Lord! ☀️

This Sunday was also Promotion Sunday as our kids and students moved up to their new classes. We're excited for all God has in store in this new year and can't wait to see how He works in the lives of every child, student, and family.

Many of you knew and loved Pastor Al. He faithfully served the Lord at Immanuel Baptist Church with a joyful heart, a welcoming smile, and a genuine love for God's people as our Minister of Senior Adults. His life reflected Christ, and his faithful example has left a lasting impact on our church family.

We invite you to join us as we celebrate Pastor Al's life and the hope we have in Christ at his memorial service on Friday, July 31st, at 11:00 AM here at Immanuel in the Worship Center. The service will also be live streamed at ibchighland.org for those who are unable to attend in person.

We hope you'll join us as we give thanks to God for Pastor Al's life and legacy. If you have a special memory of Pastor Al, we would love for you to share it in the comments below.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported our Tijuana Mission Team fundraiser yesterday!

Whether you grabbed a plate, donated, or simply stopped by to encourage our team, your generosity means so much. Every meal purchased helps make it possible for our team to serve others and share the hope of Christ in Tijuana.

We want to thank each of you for coming to celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary. Like you, we are grateful for our country and the freedoms we have. We were honored by your presence and enjoyed seeing family, friends, and neighbors coming together to celebrate. Due to an unfortunate technical difficulty, the fireworks did not live up to our previous years or to any of our expectations. We are grateful for how patient and understanding you have been!

We are thankful for our City of Highland, its leaders, our local law enforcement, and first responders. We are also grateful for the hundreds of volunteers who served so selflessly, organizing, setting up, tearing down, and helping throughout the event.
