Last weekend, we had a great time at the Schweizerfest Parade as our community celebrated 250 years of exploration!

A huge thank you to all the volunteers who helped design and build the float, as well as everyone who walked the parade route and handed out goodies along the way. We had so much fun celebrating with our local community and are grateful for everyone who came out to join in the festivities! ❤️🤍💙

Aaron continued our Avoiding Division series with the second installment, focusing on elitism—the belief or attitude that some people are better or more important than others based on birth, status, background, or other criteria. Tune in on Facebook or YouTube to see how Jesus addressed this mindset in John 8:31–59 and what it means for us today.

Application from this week's message: What does elitism look like in your life? It can show up in many ways—thinking we're better because of our upbringing, education, political views, church background, knowledge of Scripture, financial status, accomplishments, or even the choices we make for our families.

Whatever form it takes, let our prayer be that we would abandon, not adopt, any attitude of superiority. Instead, let us strive to see and treat one another as equals before our shared Father. What makes us God's children is not our background, status, or achievements, but our mutual faith in Jesus Christ and nothing else. ❤️✝️

We have some exciting news! Next Saturday, June 20, is a Baptism Saturday!

Join us as we witness and celebrate those taking the next step in their faith through baptism. We will be heading over to Pickerill's Pond in Alhambra for this special time of worship and celebration.

Check out Saturday's lineup of events!

First up, our Men's Monthly Prayer Breakfast is at 9:00 AM at Eddie's Rise N' Dine in Highland. Come hungry and be encouraged.

Then rest up and get ready to walk with us in the Schweitzerfest Parade Saturday evening! We will load up everything at Aaron & Allison's at 4:00 PM. Lineup is at the Administration Building Parking Lot at 4:30 PM, and step-off is at 5:00 PM.

If you'd like to walk or ride with us but haven't let us know yet, please reach out to Allison as soon as possible. We hope to see you there! 🎉🚜🙏
