The chairs that leaned on the tree…
Find the photo in this deck that shows two white folding chairs leaning on a tree and allow me to share a testimony of faith and works. During the warmer months, we spend a lot of time having church outside, why? Because Pastor Tim is a major advocate for bringing church to the people not only inviting them into the building. Well, as many households of pastors do, we were there early to set up at the park, when the chairs arrived the delivery man unloaded quite a lot. In my mind I’m thinking, we tell the members “bring lawn chairs if they have them” so why did pastor order this many chairs? I then said it outloud to my husband “why did you order so many chairs” & he simply replied, “we just need to set out the chairs”. So yes, I grumbled but we continued; we fanned them out and left room for some lawn chairs leaving 15 chairs against the tree as we began receiving people.
I want you to know God honored his faith and the work of ordering every last chair because those two by the tree, those were represented by the two guests in wheelchairs, the chairs members brought to sit in, those additional chairs from the delivery were used by guests in the park who came to join us.
So yes, not my finest moment but I share it with you because in spite of how you “feel” if you simply do what God is asking you to do in this season, in this moment-you will see Him do what you alone could never do. He draws them to himself, we just have to be ready to receive them each and every time. Unity WorshipCenter Tim W. Arroyo

If you dare to come somewhere to serve where it’s never quite that easy, a place that focuses more on others (community) then ourselves, if you feel your gifts and talents lay dormant, maybe you should consider Unity, there’s lots to do and thousands to reach. We already prayed that God send you, just waiting for you to answer.

Sometimes after our “Ladies at the fountain” fellowship, we venture into shops. Enjoy our time being silly, we love you all and pray it brings a giggle to your lips. Just having some fun sometimes can bring a peace.
