Research Opportunity - we are looking for 30 volunteers who are Highland Hope worship attenders (in person or online) to take an online survey from Natural Church Development (NCD).
Natural Church Development (NCD) is a strategic framework created by Christian A. Schwarz in 1996 that focuses on improving church health and quality rather than just pushing for numerical growth. By 2016, NCD International had collected data from more than 70,000 churches in 84 countries, which enable previously inaccessible insights into the relationship between quality and quantitative growth. Our 30 surveys, like a medical blood test, allow us to objectively measure our church health against a baseline of hundreds of thousands of churches worldwide.
Our results will be explained to us by Dr Jaye Johnson of the Iowa Greenhouse and Curtis Brown of the IGRC Congregational Development Team. David Kueker has used this test 3 times in 2 churches he has pastored; our Discipleship Pathway is partly based on the NCD insights.
