Impatient... I know I'm guilty. I want to get things done quickly. I want to see results from life changes I've implemented. Sometimes I get impatient with God. - Then this week I was struck after seeing a picture of the Cologne Cathedral or as the Germans call it the 'Kolner Dom.' Construction began in 1248...it wasn't finished until 1880....over 500 years under construction! Think of all the laborers who saw neither the beginning nor the end of the project. They just did their part. So I try to remember that when impatience hits me....God is at work, but his timetable is different than mine.
