OLG GRADUATE FEATURED SPEAKER WEDNESDAY NIGHT, SEPTEMBER 2nd

The Very Rev. John Kartje, a graduate of OLG School who is the president/rector of Mundelein Seminary, will speak at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, at Bishop Noll Institute in Hammond. His talk, on the complementary nature of faith and reason, is free and open to the public.
Secular society has tried to teach that science and faith are in conflict. Father John -- an inspiring speaker who has doctorates in astrophysics and sacred theology -- is uniquely qualified to explain how this secular view is a tragically false narrative. He will speak of the harmony between faith and science that leads to truth and forming a cornerstone of Catholic intellectual and spiritual life.

⛈️ WEEKEND MASS UPDATE ⛈️
Following the recent storms, Our Lady of Grace is currently without power. Weekend Masses will still be celebrated, but please be aware that there are no lights in the church or restrooms.
For everyone’s safety, parishioners with mobility concerns are encouraged to remain home this weekend.
⛪ Weekend Mass Schedule
Saturday — 4:30 PM
Sunday — 8:00 AM & 10:30 AM
There will be NO 5:30 PM Mass on Sunday.

I work in the OLG parish office. Per Father Brian, there WILL be the regular mass schedule this weekend except there will be NO mass at 5:30 pm Sunday. Please note there is no power in the church or lights in the bathrooms. Those with mobility issues should stay home and stay safe.
