Happy Saturday.
Proverbs Ch. 4 summary. I absolutely love verse 18. God is not a Supporter of Darkness!

Proverbs 4 reminds us that wisdom must be a priority in our lives. The theme verse, Proverbs 4:7, declares, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.” We are encouraged not only to hear wisdom, but to pursue it, value it, and live by it.

Verses 14–16 warn us not to enter the path of the wicked—avoid it, turn away from it, and keep moving. Everything and everyone does not deserve our participation. Keep it moving!

OUR PATH GETS BRIGHTER NOT DARKER❤️. I love this verse!
Verse 18 reminds us that “the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.” When we walk in God’s wisdom, our path becomes clearer and brighter. Not darker!

Verse 23 gives another powerful instruction: “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.” We must guard what enters our hearts because our thoughts, words, choices, and actions flow from within.

Verses 25–27 also remind us to keep our eyes looking forward, carefully consider the path we are taking, and refuse to turn toward evil. Just like verses 14-16.

The message of Proverbs 4 is simple: Get wisdom, guard your heart, choose your path carefully, avoid what leads you away from God, and keep moving forward in the light.
