They are not faceless—they are children , middle class families whose financial situations have changed drastically, women suffering from abuse, individuals challenged with mental illness, and those whose lives have been destroyed by alcoh
ol or drugs—they were your neighbors...
No matter how they became homeless, each one seeks HOPE. Located in the community of Highland Heights in a campus-like setting, St. Paschal Baylon - Helping Hands Unit provides necessary food and supplies to people in need in the Cleveland area. In some cases they also provide refuge, safety and security, a home for those without one, and a wide range of programs to help people in need rebuild their lives and re-enter society as productive and responsible citizens. What sets us apart: (Knight Riders Weekly Mobile Relief Ministry Unit & Clowns Helping Hands Ministry) We actively seek out people in need and keep track of their status and progress by visiting known homeless sites and camps deep in Cleveland's hidden cavities. Below are a list of items that are in need.You can leave your donations in the church main entrance in bags or boxes labeled "Helping Hands" OR contact us to have the items picked up. "BLANKETS, CLOTHES - JACKETS, SWEATSHIRTS, PANTS, SOCKS, SHOES - (Boots if possible), FOOD - BOXED OR CANNED GOODS, TOILETRIES, HAND-WARMERS, HATS, GLOVES, FLASHLIGHTS, BATTERIES, SMALL PORTABLE RADIO'S Etc.. Cash contributions are excepted - (Checks made out to: St. Your donation to the Coalition for the Homeless makes it possible for us to provide a safety net for all the men, women, and children who need our help.
