Local church family and friends,
We have a wonderful announcement! As of this Sunday July 4th, 2021, we will be able to once again gather INSIDE the community center building where we meet for our Sunday morning church services! This comes at a time when the weather here in the Inland Empire region of Southern California is beginning to heat up for the Summer. So, we are truly grateful to the Lord that we will once again be able to be in the Air-Conditioned building (as many know, it has been hot outside during our recent Sunday services; and we thank everyone for their patience and dedication to be in service, even during the hot weather).
With the re-opening of the building, there are some restrictions that Norton Younglove Community Center has put into policy until further notice. These restrictions have caused us as the church to have to adjust how we gather inside the building for our Sunday Service. Until further notice, THERE WILL BE A MAXIMUM CAPACITY OCCUPANCY OF AROUND 30-40 PEOPLE IN THE BUILDING AT ONE TIME. Because of this limitation, and in order to be as fair as possible to everyone who desires to be in the house of the Lord, until further notice, EVERYONE WHO PLANS TO BE IN SUDAY SERVICE MUST REGISTER AND RESERVE SEATS with our Church Secretary, Sister Becky Adame (please contact Pastor Pete or Bro. Alex for Sis. Becky’s contact info). Registration must be done NO LATER THAN the FRIDAY EVENING BY 6:00PM PRIOR to that Sunday’s Service. Once registered, we ask that you do your very best to attend that service (we understand that certain circumstances may arise that keep you from attending once registered) AND TO BE ON TIME. SERVICE STARTS AT 10:00AM. Due to the necessity and urgency of traffic/capacity control, WE WILL HAVE TO LOCK THE DOORS AND NOT ALLOW ANYONE ELSE IN AFTER THE 10:00AM MARK.
On another note, THERE WILL BE AN OVERFLOW AREA IN THE OUTSIDE PATIO for anyone who does not make registration on time, or for anyone who still may feel uncomfortable being inside the building. We would like to emphasize, however, that THE OVERFLOW AREA IS OUTSIDE (where the accommodation of Air-Conditioning is unavailable) AND THERE WILL ONLY BE ABOUT 10-15 SEATS AVAILABLE OUTSIDE ON A FIRST-COME-FIRST-SERVE BASIS. If YOU ARE A VISITOR, we would love to have you, but you would still need to register. VISITORS CAN REGISTER BY SENDING AN EMAIL TO [email protected] or by visiting our Facebook Business Page https://www.facebook.com/zacoghighgroveca AND CLICKING ON “SEND EMAIL.” Please enter “SUNDAY VISIT” in the subject line and including your name, how many seats you are requesting to reserve, and the best method of contact in the body of the email; we will reach back out to you within 48 business hours.
While in the building, there will be a 2-person capacity limit in both the men’s and the women’s restrooms, and we ask that you do your best to be conscious of the restroom capacity limits.
One last note, until further notice WE WILL BE FOLLOWING CALIFORNIA STATE GUIDELINES and ask that anyone WHO HAS NOT YET RECEIVED A COVID-19 VACCINE TO WEAR A MASK WHILE INSIDE A BUILDING. Anyone WHO HAS RECEIVED THEIR VACCINE HAS THE OPTION OF WRARING A MASK. In any case, LET US CONTINUE TO CONSIDER EACH PERSON'S CONSCIOUS in the matter.
These policies bring much distress to our hearts as we pride ourselves in being God’s church that does NOT like to turn anyone away. However, being that we are renting time and space from the Norton Younglove Community Center, and to demonstrate our appreciation for the many years that they have accommodated us as a local church, we want to do our best to show forth that we, as God’s people, know how to comply to what they are asking of us. They have treated us very good over the past 8 years and until we can acquire our own building, we want to return the courtesy. Thank you everyone for your time, consideration, and understanding. WE CANNOT WAIT TO SEE YOU IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD!
God bless,
Zion Assembly Church of God @ Highgrove, CA
