Join us for this weekโ€™s message, โ€œFathers Dayโ€ from Covenant Church High Point.

In John 13:31โ€“35, Jesus gives His disciples a new commandment in His final hours before the crucifixion: love one another as He has loved them, for this is how the world will recognize them as His followers. This radical loveโ€”self-giving, sacrificial, and unconditionalโ€”becomes the defining mark of Christian discipleship and community. It's not a suggestion or nice sentiment, but a command rooted in Christ's example and essential to the gospel witness.

Today we recognize Juneteenth with gratitude, reflection, and hope. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’› ๐Ÿ’š ๐Ÿ–ค

As followers of Jesus, we believe every person is created in the image of God, deeply loved, and worthy of dignity, justice, and compassion. We give thanks for the freedom celebrated today, for the stories and voices that shape our communities, and for the reminder that Christ calls us to love one another well.

It was great seeing so many of you in worship this morning for Week 3 of our Deep & Wide sermon series!

Today we explored what it means to balance a faith that grows deep through spiritual maturity while reaching wide with grace, truth, and love. Thank you for being part of the journey.
