Thrilled to welcome Courtney Turlington as Director of Communications and Digital Marketing! 💚 She is a High Point native with more than 20 years of experience in photography, visual storytelling, and communications. Throughout her career, she has loved telling stories, preserving meaningful memories, and helping brands connect with people in authentic and impactful ways.

Courtney and her family have been members of Green Street since 2021. She and her husband, Donnie, have been married for 24 years, and their son, Patrick, is a rising ninth grader at High Point Christian Academy. “I’m honored to serve as Director of Communications and Digital Marketing at Green Street Baptist Church, where I can use my creative gifts to inform and support our church family. We are deeply grateful for the love, encouragement, and community we’ve found at Green Street and are thankful to call it home.”

We are excited to welcome Laura Wells as our new Student Ministry Assistant! Greenstreetstudents

Laura’s passion for teens and missions has already shown through this week!

Laura lived in Sri Lanka for a small period of time working in orphanages. She served with Tucson Refugee Ministry serving teen girls. She was also a Children’s and Youth Director at a church in Washington State. She met the youth last Wednesday night and you could see her excitement to be at Green Street. (Bonus fun fact: Laura is the daughter of Tim and Monica Pressley)

Serve monthly with Life Skills on our campus, during special events or pray! We need each and every giftedness!

Last night, in our partnership with C3 Community Collaboration for Children, Inc. we hosted monthly Life Skills. With 35 adults and 30 children having RSVP’d, we were grateful for every volunteer!

We kicked off a Hopeful Living series with thankfulness. Etiquette training, among other topics, will be involved and we’ll end the series with a nice banquet with speakers and every detail in between.
