New Feature Loading….Team Tuesday Spotlight will introduce you to the amazing members of our Green Street Kids Team! We’re starting with an 18 year veteran leader, Mrs. Kaye Johnson. If you’ve been on our kids hall at all I’m sure most of you have encountered Mrs. Kaye’s joyful welcome. She teaches our 4th grade Life Group and is a Kids Worship leader, the Bible is brought to life each time she teaches! She works tireless hours behind the scenes and leads an amazing team of creatives to make all of our VBS sets some to life, she also keeps the kids area organized so we are free from distractions! If you see her this week be sure to stop and thank her for all she does!

Each year, the third Sunday of May is set aside as a day for churches to ask God to move through this thing we call VBS. It is a time for churches to pray not only for their own VBS, but also for the ones taking place down the street and across the globe.

VBS remains one of the top evangelistic outreaches of the church, resulting in more than 75,000 professions of faith annually in the Southern Baptist Convention alone. Additionally, each year during VBS thousands of kids, teens, and adults respond to the calling of God on their lives and make public a decision to pursue a career in ministry or missions. Many of today’s church leaders, pastors, missionaries, and teachers share a similar testimony. VBS is important work! And it’s one we must undergird with prayer. Here are a few prayer prompts so you can pray along!

Had a great time after church today with our 5th Graders!! This amazing group of kids spent two years with Mrs. Kaye and Mr. Chris in Life Groups, so they celebrated their promotion to a new class (a week late) with pizza, miniature golf, and a whole lot of fun!! Grateful for our faithful leaders who sacrifice their time to pour Jesus into our children!
