What a special night of prayer at our Back To School Blessing event last night as students and their parents gathered together to ask God’s blessing over the new school year!

Families prayed for our students, teachers, classmates, and schools, lifting up the year ahead and asking God for wisdom, protection, encouragement, and opportunities to shine for Christ. We were also blessed to have Pastor Jeff join us and pray alongside our families.

What a beautiful reminder that we don’t begin a new school year simply with new supplies and schedules, we begin it on our knees, trusting God with our children and our schools. ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to our Green Street Kids ministry for organizing this special evening and creating a meaningful opportunity for our church families to come together in prayer!

Let’s continue to pray for our students, teachers, and schools throughout the year. 🙏

Back-to-School Blessing: A Family Prayer Event

As the new school year approaches, we want to cover our kids, families, and schools in intentional prayer and encouragement.

You’re invited to our Back-to-School Blessing, a walk-through family event featuring 4 interactive prayer stations designed to prepare hearts and minds for the year ahead.

Task cards, shaving cream, pool noodles, shaving cream, sponges, shaving cream, water balloons, complete chaos, and did I mention shaving cream 🤪 This is Organized Mass Chaos (OMC) and it might just be our favorite day of camp!

A fantastic way to get the whole family involved in serving our community, and it’s lots of fun!!

Green Street, due to YOUR donations coming in and a load picked up yesterday from our friends at Hayworth Wesleyan Kingdom Seekers Sunday School and Love Beyond Pieces (made 600 homemade bunnies!!)—we need help pre-sorting this Thursday or Friday before we begin stuffing backpacks next week.

Join us next Tuesday for Chalk the Lot! Each family will pick a parking space and create a chalk art scene. This could be a Bible Story, vacation memory from the summer, or any other creative idea you may have! Bring a chair and join us for a fun time together in the C parking lot by the Clubhouse! Ice cream and basic chalk supplies will be provided.
