Join us this Sunday, September the 6th, for our Ecumenical Dinner Church, as we gather with our friends from Forest Hills Presbyterian Church and Emmanuel Lutheran Church for an evening of food, fellowship, and community.

We’ll meet at Shelter 7 at City Lake Park at 6:00 p.m. for a shared meal around the picnic tables.

Everyone is invited, and we encourage you to bring a dish or two to share—something you love to cook, something your family enjoys, or simply something you picked up along the way. Bring a comfy lawn chair, but most importantly, bring yourself!

There’s a place at the table for everyone as we come together across congregations and traditions to eat, laugh, connect, and have meaningful conversations.

Great time last night at nomadwineworks

Atvour Water into Wine we discussed questions dealing with culture. Such as, what changes innthenculturwbgive you hope and what changes scare you? How do we change a culture? And what things in our culture should we let go of?

At the end we broke our into an impromptu hymn. A few folks in the other room asked what was going on so we told them. Who knows, maybe we'll see them on an upcoming Sunday morning!

Over a drink and good conversation, we’ll explore current events, culture, and the questions they raise for people of faith.

No theological degree required, just curiosity and an open mind!

Images and memories captured from our time of Gathering this past Sunday.

For the second time this summer, our choir came together to help lead us through worship with their skills and gifts. We are so thankful to them for helping us see and hear God through the muse of music.

During our time of Holy Conversation, we talked with our neighbors about those things which are embedded in Emerywood's DNA. Those markers which we never want to lose or forget. Those markers that act as a reminder to us as we move forward as a congregation more concerned with partnering with what God is doing now instead of focusing on what we've done in the past.

All of this is leading to our weekend long Homecoming service September 11th-13th.
