Due to inclement weather again the doors of of our church will not be open on tonight for Bible Study. Brookhavenites We are In a season of rebuilding so let us focus on this scripture below for our study for this evening. Love each of you pray that each of you stay warm and safe.

Isaiah 58:12 promises that those who truly honor God (by fasting rightly and caring for the vulnerable) will become "repairers of the breach," rebuilding ancient ruins and restoring foundations for future generations. This verse highlights a calling to rebuild, restore, and mend broken communities, both physically and spiritually.

Brookhaven due to the inclement weather we are not able to worship together in person. So let us take this time today and focus on the scriptures coming from our Sunday School lesson for today which is teaching us the praiseworthiness of the Lord.
“Pastor and I pray that everyone is doing well and is staying warm and safe.”
“Hopefully we will be able to return to the sanctuary on Wednesday night for our weekly Bible Study.”

Scripture Lesson Text

Psalm 113:1-9
1.As Christ followers we should praise the Lord (Ps. 113:1;34:1).
2. Our circumstances should not dictate when we worship God we should always praise him (Ps.113:2-3).
3. As Christians, we cannot allow the sway of politics to stand in the way of our faith, for God is over the nations(Ps.113:4;Dan. 3:13-29).
4. God is sovereign over the Comos He created (Ps.113:5-8).
5. God cares for the poor and forgotten in society (Ps.113:7-8;Matt.25:31-46).
6. God sees those who longs for a family and children, and He is faithful to care for them (Ps.113:9;James 1:27).
