To God Be the Glory for the great things He has done! My heart is overwhelmed with gratitude for the love and support shown to my family and the great people of Calvary Baptist Church during my installation service as the 18th pastor. Special thank you to Willie Mason and the Galilee choir for ushering in the Spirit of God in both worship services with power and grace. I am deeply grateful to Dr. J.Michael Tennial (Pastor JT) for delivering an inspiring Word during our morning service. What an on-time word for such a time as this.
Thank you to Mayor Cyril Jefferson,, Dr. Matthew Rouse, III, 4th VP of the General Baptist State Convention of NC, Dr. Alvin Armstead of The Rowan Baptist Association, Dr. Daniel Webb of the Ministers Conference of High Point & Vicinity, Guilford County Board of Commissioners, Pastor Frank Thomas of Mt. Zion Baptist Church for your thoughtful greetings. To all pastors and clergy that made this day special with your participation and your presence on this momentous day, I do not take your contributions for granted and I am blessed to have your support. Thank you Pastor Chad Armstrong for presiding and leading us the installation worship experience.
I am forever grateful to my Pastor, Dr. Scovens, Lady Von, and the entire Galilee church family for supporting and celebrating with us as we look to God in this season of renewal and purpose. Lisa and I value your love, support and your friendship and know that we will always be family! Thank you Doc for being my mentor, pastor, leader, confidant, teacher, and most importantly, my friend. I value all that you have shared in ministry and leadership and I promise to love God's people as you have faithfully demonstrated.
To the trustees, leadership and membership of Calvary Baptist Church, our new Calvary family, we are thankful for the love we have experienced and we believe that greater is coming for our ministry and the community of High Point. We accept the challenge and charge that God has trusted us with as we partner together, with you, to share the love of Jesus Christ with all that will hear. I believe that God is going to do something amazing in our ministry. If we keep praying, keep pressing and keep standing on the Word of God, "eye have not seen, ear not heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him".
