Because of that, we’re beginning a new chapter this 2026: “Believing that no child is ever lost, every person is valuable and all people are worthy of love.”

This multi-year campaign launches this year-begin, as we work for more children and families to experience real transformation and hope through expanding our programs and campus.

Why? Because every day, we see children left out and overlooked.
And we believe (as everyone does) that no child should live in the margins.
They deserve belonging... deserve hope...
They deserve to be rescued, restored and rebuilt.

💯2025 was a year of growth for WOLO! It’s been a joy to reflect on all the Lord accomplished through our hard working WOLO community, the leadership of our Ugandan team and your generosity. It really does take a village to make this world a better place to live.

Thanks to you. WOLO ended the year with countless moments that show the power of love in action. 2025 alone, WOLO impacted over 12,000 lives, served thousands of families, educated hundreds of children and witnessed transformation in every corner of our work.

These are the highlights of the year, but what fills our heart most as we reflect are all the quiet moments of transformation we witnessed that we can’t convert into a number, the beautiful changes we can’t quite measure, all the love and shared life that data can’t capture. Because storing up heavenly treasures is best told through stories. So we will do our best to keep telling God’s unfolding story of restoration in rural Uganda in a way that honors his created people living in vulnerable conditions, and invites you to be part of it. Because joining one another in our stories is how God’s love is made complete in us. (1 John 4:12)

There are few joys greater than seeing kids coming back to life after being relieved of suffering.
WOLO is a place of love and healing for kids in Uganda.
We aim to Rescue, Restore and Rebuild as many kids as we can while keeping our commitment to always striving to improve the quality of the care, education and nutrition for the less privileged children.
We are deeply grateful for what you have enabled us to do for these children in 2025 and we’re eager to let the healing begin for more children in 2026!

A child or any person shouldn’t have to worry about safe clean drinking water.

Thanks to you, the Wolo Children and the people of the communities we serve have access to clean water.
But the need is still present; there are children still in need of accessible safe drinking water. Together, we can do more - but we can do this alone. We need YOU!

Children in Uganda!🎄🎅

Christmas in Uganda is simple and beautiful. No pressure. No shopping. Just joy, worship, and celebrating Jesus.

And every year, the kids in our program light up when they hear about His birth. Many don’t even know their own birthday, but Christmas reminds them they’re seen and loved.

This year, we’re celebrating the Wolo Children, the community children, elderly neighbors, and the Wolo staff. We’d love for you to be part of it.

Your gift does more than provide a meal or a present.
It tells a child, “You matter.” It tells a family, “God sees you.” It tells a widow “You’re not alone.”

Nearly 700 plastic bottles of 350ml for one dollar. Thats the reality in Abraham’s village.

His family does not drink from the bottles they collect.
They gather the crushed, dusty ones from the roadside and earn only pennies for a full bag.
At just eleven years old, Abraham worked with his mom in other people’s gardens while his brother, Isaac 13 years, searched for bottles to help the family survive.

One day at the Water Well, Abraham listened as James shared how God healed him after prayer.

Abraham whispered, “If God healed him, He can change my story too.”
And his story began to change. Today, Abraham and Isaac have stepped into hope fully, both have been given full sponsorships at the Wolo School so as they can have a chance to quality free education.

In just the last few months, we’ve add 63 children, like Abraham who have found hope through our education program, thanks to supporters like you. That’s 63 stories in the making. And we all get to be part of it.
Our goal is 100 children before the end of 2025.

🤲Once, it was just a dream.
We prayed over it and fasted.
We believed and hoped for a miracle. And God makes the impossibles-possible.
The Wolo Children’s Center! And the “doubters became believers.”

Today, that same miracle is still unfolding and you’re invited to be part of it. Whether as a volunteer, a teacher, a child caregiver, a medical professional or if you’re doing internships. WOLO welcomes you.

With you, it means more meals, more rescued children and generally more lives transformed.

🎗️Today, we come together to remember those we’ve lost. To support those living with HIV/AIDs and to keep inspiring change.

This World AIDs Day, reminds us that while HIV cases in Uganda, Africa is rising, it’s not just a sign of challenge. It’s also a sign of progress. It means, more people are getting tested, more people are seeking treatment and more people are choosing to take charge of their health.

We honor the courage of people living with HIV and the strength of communities like WOLO who continue to lead with hope. Building safe spaces, expanding access to treatment and testing and breaking the walls of stigma.

Our journey is not yet over but together we can create a future where no one is judged, no one is left behind and everyone is loved.
Let’s please to take care of ourselves and encourage others to do the same.
Together, we can build a healthier future for all.

📸🤳Behind every WOLO story is someone holding the camera, like Samuel and Julia

Before the photo, there’s the story. Before the story, there’s trust. For over 6 years, WOLO has been serving the less privileged children, families and staff and everything is always captured and stored.

It’s easy to forget how deeply poverty shapes daily life. Special thanks to you who loves and supports the Wolo Vision. Through the lens, we see both the weight of poverty and the power of moving with compassion.

It’s the stories that we capture that move us and keep us doing what we understand best. “Rewriting the story of misery into a story of Hope.”
