A Prayer for the Next Generation

God, we lift up the next generation to You. Thank You that they are not just the leaders of tomorrow but the leaders of today. Remind them that their worth is not defined by the opinions of others but by Your unchanging truth. You call them loved, chosen, and set apart for a purpose. We pray that they would dream big, work hard, and not be afraid to start small. Help them to never underestimate the ability they have to make a difference when they step out in faith. We pray that they would continue to seek You. Let their relationship with You be the foundation of all that they do. Make them a light in the darkness, a voice of hope in a hurting world, and a reflection of Your love wherever they go. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today was the last day of regular camp at Lake James Christian Camp And Retreat Center, where many students from First Church of Christ Hicksville attended over the summer! We’re so grateful for the ministry of the camp and the volunteers and parents and the students who participated this year!
